Lampertz, the market leader in the development, manufacture and distribution of physical security technology for IT systems and data, has announced the appointment of Powerfirm, one of Australia’s leading physical IT infrastructure distributors, as its preferred strategic partner.

The appointment will see Powerfirm locally distribute the Lampertz range of solutions which include security protection for IT and data centre locations as well as high-availability systems for data backup. Specific solutions include risk protection products for security rooms, rack protector IT-security safes, and security infrastructure solutions.

In addition, Powerfirm has been appointed to distribute the Lampertz family of media safe and safeguard solutions, including fire-protection cabling and modular door and dividing wall systems.

Since its foundation in 1996, Powerfirm has established itself as a national IT provider with expertise in physical infrastructure such as data centre architecture, UPS, racking, cooling, power and cable management, security surveillance and environmental monitoring.

Powerfirm will leverage the partnership with Lampertz to offer a new level of proactive protection to its customers. Powerfirm’s client list includes many of Australia’s major corporations and government bodies as well as small and medium businesses.
